Clean Contacts On Doorbell Button
Doorbell systems don't have many moving parts. So, little can go wrong. One of the single-most common problems is a corroded connection at the pushbutton unit. To make a fix, remove the cover from the pushbutton, loosen the screw connections, remove the wires and clean them until they shine. Use the edge of a dull knife, sandpaper or emery cloth to do the job. Reattach the wire, and chances are you won't be lonely anymore.
