Getting the Kinks out of a Flapper Chain
Some toilets have a recurring problem with the chain getting kinked up or wrapped around the lever arm. As a result, the toilet valve runs continually, making for a waste of water. Here is a simple but effective solution. Get a drinking straw and cut it to about 2/3 to 3/4 the length of the flapper chain. Place the straw on the chain and stop the chain from kinking or wrapping.
